UH opened the invitational strong against the Sun Devils, outscoring the host team 3-1 in the first quarter and put in three more in the second while holding ASU to one. By halftime, the Rainbow Wahine footed a comfortable 6-2 lead.

 
The Rainbow Wahine continued to manage their lead into the second half, putting in two more goals over the Sun Devil's one in the third quarter. ASU was able to outscore UH 2-1 in the final quarter but the Rainbow Wahine held on for a 9-5 victory.

 
Sophomore Monika Eggens led UH scoring four of its nine goals while freshman Amarens Genee added two.

 
Cal Baptist kept up with the Rainbow Wahine for the first half. UH put in three goals for a 3-2 lead on Cal Baptist to end the first quarter. Both teams quieted in the second however, each only scoring one. UH led 4-3 at halftime.

 
UH edged out Cal Baptist with a 4-1 run in the third quarter and ran away with the lead in the final, outscoring them 4-2 to end the match with a 12-6 landslide victory.

 
Monika Eggens scored three for the Rainbow Wahine while Helena Slagter, Amarens Genee and Carmen Eggens added two each.

 
Tomorrow UH continues the Arizona State Invitational facing back-to-back matches against Concordia and Santa Clara.
