Rainbows Return Home To Host Nevada For BIg WAC Series

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow baseball team returns to the islands to host the Nevada Wolf Pack at Les Murakami Stadium from Apr. 30-May 2.

The 'Bows are coming off a long, nine-game road trip, splitting a four-game series at Louisiana Tech this past week. Josh Slaats had another wonderful pitching performance in the series, throwing his second complete-game shutout of the season to win WAC Pitcher of the Week honors for the fourth time.

When: Friday, Apr. 30 (6:35 p.m.), Saturday, May 1 (3:05 p.m., doubleheader), Sunday, May 2 (1:05 p.m.)
Where: Les Murakami Stadium (4,312)
Television: KFVE (Channel 5) will broadcast the Friday and Sunday games this week live with Jim Leahey and Pal Eldredge calling the action.

Ticket Information: Individual game tickets are $8 in the lower and mid levels. Adult tickets in the upper level are $6, with senior citizens for $5 and student tickets in the upper level for $3. Manoa Maniac tickets in lower JJ will be available for $5. In addition to purchasing tickets online at HawaiiAthletics.com, fans can visit the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., or call 944-2697 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. 
UH Alumni Association members will receive 50% off adult tickets (maximum of four) to the baseball team's four-game series against Nevada Apr. 30-May 2 at Les Murakami Stadium. A valid Alumni Association membership card is required when purchasing tickets at the Stan Sheriff Center or Les Murakami Stadium Box Offices. Tickets are in special sections and supplies are limited. Other restrictions may apply.
