HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team kicked off its season with the first day of the Rainbow Wahine Invitational Thursday at the UH Tennis Complex.
The Rainbow Wahine hosted local schools Chaminade and Hawai'i Pacific with both singles and doubles competition. Eight Rainbow Wahine players were in action on the day as UH went 5-3 in singles and 3-2 in doubles.
The three-day tournament continues Friday, 3:00 p.m. and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at the UH Tennis Complex.
