No. 4 Rainbow Wahine Hit The Road To Face Idaho, Boise State And Utah State

Match Notes

HONOLULU – The No. 4 University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine volleyball team heads back out on the road this week for a three-match trip, playing at Idaho, Boise State and Utah State from Oct. 21-25.
 
The trip starts with a match at Idaho on Thursday, Oct. 21, at 8 p.m. PT (5 p.m. HT). UH will then play at Boise State on Saturday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. MT (3 p.m. HT), before closing the trip with a match at Utah State on Monday, Oct. 25, at 8 p.m. MT (4 p.m. HT).
 
The matches at Idaho and Utah State will be aired live on ESPNU for a national television audience. Those will be the second and third nationally televised matches of the season for the Rainbow Wahine.
 
What: Hawai'i at Idaho, Boise State, Utah State
When: Thursday, Oct. 21 (8 p.m. PT, 5 p.m. HT), Saturday, Oct. 23 (7 p.m. MT, 3 p.m. HT), Monday, Oct. 25 (8 p.m. MT, 4 p.m. HT)
Where: Memorial Gym, Bronco Gym, Dee Glen Smith Spectrum
Television: ESPNU will televise two of the matches this week. Sam Gore (play-by-play) and Kelli Tennant (color commentary) will do the match at Idaho on Thursday, Oct. 21. Then Krista Blunk (play-by-play) and Kelli Tennant (color commentary) will handle the match at Utah State on Monday, Oct. 25.
Radio: ESPN 1420 (1420 AM) will broadcast the matches this week, live with Blaine Kauwe handling the play-by-play. The match at Boise State on Saturday, Oct. 23, will conflict with the Hawai'i Warrior football game, meaning the match will be broadcasted on ESPN 1500 (1500 AM), baring any potential conflicts with the Major League Baseball playoffs. If there is a conflict with the baseball playoffs, Kauwe will be calling in updates on ESPN 1500.
