Parker Boys Punch Ticket to HHSAA XC Championship

 

 

Led by SR Jesse Tarnas (#4 17:59.55) and the brothers Gregg (SR Daniel, #14 18:40.01 and JR Paul, #15 18:46.24), tiny Parker School, Waimea (Kamuela, Big Island ) boys Cross Country team has earned a berth in the Hawaii High School Athletic Association Cross Country Championship 10/28 at Patsy Mink Central Oahu Regional Park near Waipahu, Oahu.

 

 

Parker (enrollment <300 K-12) finished second at the 2010 BIIF Cross Country Championship, held today at Hawaii Preparatory Academy, to a very talented Honoka'a High School team led by the #1-3 finishers SR Chris Mosch (17:36.85) Joshua Robinson (17:47.55) and JR Chayce Moniz (17:53.37).

 

 

The Bulls were assisted by SR Tyler McCullough (19:16.63), SR Kimo Hon (19:33.15),  Jesse Burns (20:34.61) and Evan Kasberg (21:33.60 59). They defeated BIIF XC powerhouses #3 Hilo, #4 Hawaii Prep, #5 Kamehameha Hawaii #6 Waiakea and #7 Kea'au.
