Video Press Conference

KAHULUI, Maui – University of Hawai'i Athletics Director Jim Donovan and University of Hawai'i men's basketball head coach Gib Arnold traveled to Maui on Thursday for a press conference promoting UH's game against Chicago State on the Valley Isle next month.

 

The regular-season Division I game will be played at the 2,400-seat Lahaina Civic Center, Friday, Dec. 17 at 7:00 p.m. It will be UH's first neighbor island appearance since competing in the 2003 EA Sports Maui Invitational.

 

Ticket prices for the Maui game are $12 (adults) and $6 (senior citizens and students ages 4-high school) and available at at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office, 944-2697 and HawaiiAthletics.com. All seats are general admission.

 

Tickets will also be available for sale on Maui starting Friday, Nov. 19 at the Pacific Radio Group; 311 Ano Street; Kahului, HI 96732; Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The game will mark the first time UH will host a ticketed regular season match on Maui in any sport since the football team opened the 2001 season against Montana. The Warrior men's volleyball team was scheduled to play a pair of matches on Maui this past February, however, that event was cancelled due to a tsunami warning.
