After securing a state record for 200 meters over the weekend at the Clemson High School Invitational, Hickory Ridge (NC) senior Cameron Rose was named National Performer of the Week for the period Jan. 20-26.

Rose once again was electric, producing the sixth-fastest 200m performance of all-time in 20.94, which surpassed Trentavis Friday's North Carolina state record of 20.97, which was last set in 2014. Rose earned over 47-percent of the vote, earning top honors.

A big kudos goes out to the Virginia Tech signee.

Now let's get to Week 5. Vote for whom you think should win this week's national honor following a big week of action. Voting will end Friday, and we'll recognize the winner every Monday during the unveiling of the newest poll.

Below we have eight boys nominees for this week's top honor. Vote below in the poll and let us know your thoughts in the comments. For reference, check out our Top 25 Indoor Performances of the Week. You can also vote in our National Girls Performer of the Week poll
