Game Notes
HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team begins Western Athletic Conference play with two road games, beginning Wednesday, Jan. 6 at Fresno State and Saturday, Jan. 9 at New Mexico State. UH finished its non-conference schedule with a 6-7 record.
The Rainbow Wahine picked up back-to-back wins over Kent State at home last week, improving to 3-2 at the Stan Sheriff Center. Fresno State comes into the week with a 9-5 overall record, while New Mexico State carries a 10-4 mark.
UH opens with two road games before opening the home WAC schedule with three straight home games. The Rainbow Wahine are 8-5 all-time in WAC openers.
