Diving Hosts First Event Of Season With Hawai’i Diving Invite

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i diving teams host their first event of the season with the Hawai'i Diving Invite, beginning Thursday, Jan. 7 at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatics Complex and concluding on Friday, Jan. 8. The first day of the invite begins at 10 a.m. Thursday.

The men's and women's teams will each be hosting Wisconsin and St. Cloud State in a three-team diving invitational.

After warm-ups, the prelims begin at 10 a.m. for the women and 11 a.m. for the men on Thursday, with the finals at 2 p.m. for the women and 3 p.m. for the men. On Thursday the men will be participating on the 3-meter and the women will be on the 1-meter.

On Friday, the men will begin prelims at 10 a.m. and the women will begin at 11 a.m. Finals will be at 2 p.m. for the men and 3 p.m. for the women. The women will be diving on the 3-meter and the men will be on the 1-meter.

This will be UH's first diving event of the season at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatics Complex, followed by its final diving event on Jan. 15 in the Rainbow Diving Invite.
