WAIPI'O – One Rainbow Warrior advanced to the next day of the USTA Wild Card Tournament at Central O'ahu Regional Park in Waipi'o. UH senior Andreas Weber cruised to the quarter finals of the tournament with a victory in straight sets. Weber defeated Masashi Yagasaki  6-0, 6-2 and will play Mikael Maatta tomorrow.

Mean while, UH junior Daniel Llarenas was defeated by Matthew  Westmoreland, 6-7(3); 6-3; 7-5. As a side note, UH volunteer coach Ikaika Jobe won his match today over Quoc Huynh 6-4, 6-2. Jobe is seeded No. 1 in the tournament. The quarter final matches will all be held tomorrow.
