Women’s Basketball Hosts First WAC Home Games, Alumnae Game

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team hosts its first WAC opponents of the season, beginning Wednesday, Jan. 13 against Idaho at 7 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center. Saturday, Jan. 16, the Rainbow Wahine will hold their annual Alumnae Game at 5 p.m., followed by Nevada at 7 p.m.
 
UH plays three games in less than a week, hosting Idaho (Jan. 13), Nevada (Jan. 16) and Utah State on Monday, Jan. 18. Monday's game against Utah State will begin at 5 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center.
 
The Rainbow Wahine enter the week with a 6-9 overall record and a 0-2 conference mark. Idaho is 2-12 overall and 0-1 in conference play, Nevada is 8-8 and 2-0 in WAC and Utah State is 10-5 and 2-0 in conference.
