DENVER – The Western Athletic Conference announced the 2009 academic all-WAC cross country, football, soccer and volleyball teams for the fall with 34 student-athletes from the University of Hawai'i honored.

 

UH had three cross country runners, 15 football players, nine soccer players and seven volleyball players receive academic all-WAC recognition.

 

A student-athlete must have completed one academic year to be eligible, holding at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA while playing in at least 50 percent of their team's contests. A total of 312 student-athletes were named to the list from the nine WAC schools.
