LAS VEGAS – Former University of Hawai'i women's volleyball player Raeceen Woolford was selected as Miss Congeniality at the 2010 Miss America Pageant at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Woolford also took sixth place overall.

Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron won the title over 52 other contestants. Miss California Kristy Cavinder was the first runner-up. The pageant was broadcast live on TLC.

Woolford won the Miss Hawai'i Pageant in June. The 'Iolani graduate was a four-year letterwinner at UH, playing in 87 matches during her career from 2004-07. Woolford amassed 211 digs in her career as a defensive specialist, and posted one of the longest serving streaks in the school history, serving 14 consecutive points in a match vs. Boise State on Sept. 22, 2005.
