The University of Hawai'i men's and women's swimming and diving teams were both ranked in the College Swimming Coaches Association of America's Scholar Teams list for fall semester announced by the association.

 

The men's team ranked ninth in Division I with a 3.25 team grade point average. American University led the way with a team GPA of 3.47 followed by Yale with a 3.36 GPA.

 

With a team GPA of 3.22, the women were ranked 67th right under Northeastern University. Garner-Webb University's 3.52 team GPA topped the women's Division I list, followed by the University of Akron with a 3.49 GPA.

 

Next, the swimming and diving teams are scheduled to compete in their conference championships from Feb. 24-27 in San Antonio, Texas.
