Rainbow Baseball Opens 2010 Campaign With No. 10 Oregon State

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow baseball team opens its 2010 campaign this week, hosting No. 10 Oregon State at the Les Murakami Stadium from Friday, Feb. 19, to Monday, Feb. 22.
 
The 2010 season will mark the 40th season of NCAA Division I baseball for UH. Hawai'i is coming off a 32-26 season in 2009, returning six starting position players and two starting pitchers.

When: Friday, Feb. 19 (6:35 p.m.), Saturday, Feb. 20 (1:05 p.m.), Sunday, Feb. 21 (1:05 p.m.), Monday, Feb. 22 (5:05 p.m.)
Where: Les Murakami Stadium (4,312)
Television: KFVE-TV will broadcast the Sunday and Monday games live. Jim Leahey (play-by-play) and Pal Eldredge (color commentary) will be the announcers.

Ticket Information: Individual game tickets are $8 in the lower and mid levels. Adult tickets in the upper level are $6, with senior citizens for $5 and student tickets in the upper level for $3. Manoa Maniac tickets in lower JJ will be available for $5. In addition to purchasing tickets online at HawaiiAthletics.com, fans can visit the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., or call 944-2697 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
For the second-consecutive year, UH Athletics will offer a "Fast Lane" option for fans purchasing baseball tickets at Les Murakami Stadium on game day. Window 7 will be the designated "Fast Lane" window, where cash-only, best-available, upper-level seats will be sold. Fans will not be able to "shop for seats" and they will be sold the best upper-level seat locations remaining at the time of their purchase. Also, when demand dictates, a second "Fast Lane" window will be opened up.
Promotions: Outrigger Hotels and Resorts is the sponsor of the four-game series and will award prizes to fans during the contests
