HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team hosts Boise State on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. in its final home game of the season. UH will also honor its lone senior
Dita Liepkalne following the game at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Liepkalne is a four-year letterwinner for the Rainbow Wahine and has 72 starts in over 100 games played in a UH uniform.
The Rainbow Wahine enter the game with a 9-18 overall record and a 3-11 WAC mark. Boise State is 17-9 on the season and 6-6 in conference action. UH is still battling for the eighth spot in the WAC standings, with only two games remaining.
Giveaways & Promotions
Verizon Wireless is the game sponsor and the first 300 fans will receive a UH patch. Also, the University of Hawaii Federal Credit Union will distribute 200 women's basketball team photos and award plaque UH's senior during the “Senior Night” post-game ceremony. Active, reservists, and retired members of the military will receive 50% off adult tickets (maximum of eight). A valid military identification card is required when purchasing tickets at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office. Other restrictions may apply.
