Men’s Swimming and Diving Moves Into Second At CUSA Championships

Day 2 Results

HOUSTON – The University of Hawai'i men's swimming and diving team moved into second place at the Conference USA Championships on Thursday, held at the CRWC Natatorium on the campus of the University of Houston.
 
UH's James Clarke won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:21.62, while Lazar Bogdanovski finished fourth in a time of 4:29.38.
 
The Rainbow Warriors won a second event of the day when freshman Luca Mazzurana won the 200-yard IM in a time of 1:46.94.
 
In the 50-yard freestyle, Davis Kane finished fourth with a time of 20.31, while Sean Reilly finished fifth in a time of 20.50.
 
UH wrapped up the day with a third place finish in the 400-yard medley relay. The team of Bogdanovski, Perry Sharify, Mazzurana and Kane finished in a time of 3:16.49.
 
The third day of the championships continue on Friday at the CRWC Natatorium in Houston, Texas.
