Baseball 'Bows Host The Citadel For Four-Game Series

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow baseball team hosts another four-game series this week, facing The Citadel from Thursday, March 4, to Saturday, March 6, at Les Murakami Stadium.
 
The 'Bows are coming off a successful weekend, taking three-of-four games from No. 25 Oregon to up their record to 4-4. In the process, UH's Lenny Linsky earned WAC Pitcher of the Week honors after becoming the first Rainbow ever to post three saves in one weekend series.
 
This week's series vs. The Citadel will have a few different game times to be aware of. The opener on Thursday will start at 6:35 p.m. Friday's doubleheader will begin at 3:35 p.m., with the finale on Saturday starting at 12:05 p.m.

Television: KFVE-TV will broadcast all games live. Jim Leahey (play-by-play) and Pal Eldredge (color commentary) will be the announcers.

Ticket Information: Individual game tickets are $8 in the lower and mid levels. Adult tickets in the upper level are $6, with senior citizens for $5 and student tickets in the upper level for $3. Manoa Maniac tickets in lower JJ will be available for $5. In addition to purchasing tickets online at HawaiiAthletics.com, fans can visit the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., or call 944-2697 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Promotional Information: Bud Light is the game sponsor on Thursday (6:35 p.m.). The Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa is the sponsor on Saturday (12:05 p.m.) and will award a two-night stay in an ocean-view room to the winner of the on-field promotional contest between the fourth and fifth innings. Hawaii Army National Guard, the sponsor of Friday's doubleheader (3:35 p.m.), will distribute 500 megaphones prior to the first game and 500 thunderstix prior to the second game. Fans can register at the sports marketing table at the main entrance for lucky-seat prizes and on-field promotional contests prior to all contests.
CoachesMike Trapasso (249-220) is in his ninth year at UH. Fred Jordan (628-451) is in his 19th year at The Citadel.
