The Rainbow Wahine will face tough competition, including No. 12 California, No. 22 Oklahoma State and No. 25 UC Davis. The remainder of the 16-team field includes host San Jose State, Colorado, Colorado State,  Fresno State, Gonzaga, Long Beach State, Nevada, Oklahoma, San Diego State, San Francisco, Santa Clara, and UC Irvine.

The 54-hole tournament consists of two rounds being played on Monday and the final round taking place on Tuesday. Participants will play on a par-72 course checking in at 6,223 yards.

The Rainbow Wahine traveled to San Jose to compete in last year's Spartan Invitational, but the tournament was cancelled in the first round due to persistent rain and unplayable course conditions.
