Flemings Selected To Honorable Mention All-WAC Basketball Team

DENVER – University of Hawai'i men's basketball forward Roderick Flemings was selected as an honorable mention all-Western Athletic Conference as selected by the league's coaches. Flemings was the only Rainbow Warrior mentioned to the postseason award teams.

The senior from Dallas, Texas, averaged a team-high 16.6 points per game this past season and finished his two-year career with 964 points, which ranks 17th all-time in school history. Flemings scored 20-plus points in 10 games this season including 29 on Saturday in a loss at Idaho, that ended UH's season at 10-20.

Flemings scored in double-digits in 23 games in 2009-10 and 51-of-58 career games. He had a career-high 39 points in a loss to Cal Poly last month which was the most points ever by a UH player in the Stan Sheriff Center and the fourth-high total in program history.

Last season, Flemings was a second-team all-WAC pick and all-newcomer team selection. He was also selected to the NABC all-district second team.

Flemings and the Rainbow Warriors finished in ninth place in the WAC with a 3-13 record.
