Rainbow Sailors Finish Fifth At McIntyre Regatta

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.—The University of Hawai'i coed sailing team finished in fifth place in the Jeremy McIntyre Team Race held March 6-7.
 
Host Stanford captured the regatta, winning a sail off with UC Irvine. Both teams finished with 12 wins. UH, meanwhile, advanced to the championship round but finished with seven wins and were unable to catch-up to front runners Stanford and UC Irvine. Sailing for the Rainbows were Tahnee Allman, Darla Baldwin, Zachary Hester, Lani Johnson, Jaclyn McLoughlin, William Petersen, Hannah Tuson-Turner and Ryan Wild.
 
Next up for the Rainbows is the LAYC/CMA Harbor Cup, March 13-14, in Los Angeles.
