HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow baseball team (7-8) fell to the Southern California Trojans (8-8) 12-2 in front of a crowd of 3,418 at Les Murakami Stadium Sunday. Matt Sisto (1-3) took the loss for UH while Kevin Couture (2-0) got the win for USC.

Kolten Wong led the way for UH, going 2-for-4 with a home run. Kevin Macdonald also homered in the game while Matt Roquemore went 3-for-3.

USC opened the scoring in the top of the second. Macdonald responded for Hawai'i in the bottom of the inning, hitting a solo homer to cut it back to 2-1.

The Trojans again put up a two-run inning in the top of the third to chase Sisto out of the game. Wong then gave UH another solo home run, getting it back to 4-2.

But USC continued its scoring onslaught, plating a run in the fourth, two in the sixth, one in the seventh and four more in the eighth, giving the Trojans the 12-2 victory.
