Women’s Tennis Completes Road Stretch With Loss To UNLV

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The University of Hawai`i Rainbow Wahine tennis team dropped its third straight match with a 6-1 loss to No. 34 UNLV Saturday afternoon at the Fertitta Tennis Complex. The Rainbow Wahine fell to 2-11 on the season.

The match was the final part of a schedule that saw UH play 11 straight road matches. The Rainbow Wahine went 2-9 during that stretch with five losses to ranked teams, including the No. 34 Rebels.

UNLV took the doubles point, however UH did get a win on the no. 1 court with the duo of Sophie Kobuch and Katarina Poljakova picking up an 8-4 win over Jana Albers and Rumyana Terzieva.
