'Bows Close Long Homestand With Four Games Against Air Force

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow baseball team concludes its long homestand to start the season with a four-game series against former conference foe Air Force from Friday, March 19, to Monday, March 22.
 
Hawai'i is coming off a tough series vs. Southern California, losing the final three games of the series after winning the opener. UH is 7-9 on the year after playing four series against some of the best competition in the country. Their strength of schedule ranks second in the country, according to two websites that calculate collegiate baseball RPI numbers.

Television: KFVE-TV will broadcast the Sunday and Monday games live. Jim Leahey (play-by-play) and Pal Eldredge (color commentary) will be the announcers.

Ticket Information: Individual game tickets are $8 in the lower and mid levels. Adult tickets in the upper level are $6, with senior citizens for $5 and student tickets in the upper level for $3. Manoa Maniac tickets in lower JJ will be available for $5. In addition to purchasing tickets online at HawaiiAthletics.com, fans can visit the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., or call 944-2697 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Promotional Information: The UH baseball team hosts a four-game series against the Air Force Academy, Mar. 19-22. Jack In The Box, the game sponsor on Friday (6:35 p.m.) and Saturday (6:35 p.m.), will distribute 400 seat cushions at each game, as well as Jack In The Box food coupons. California Hotel & Casino and Vacations Hawaii are the game sponsors on Sunday (1:05 p.m.) and Monday 6:35 p.m.). Fans can register at the sports marketing table at the main entrance for the chance to win a Trip to Las Vegas. The drawing will be held on Monday and entrants must be 21 years or older. Active, reservists, and retired members of the military will receive 50% off adult tickets (maximum of four) to all games in the UH baseball team's series against the Air Force Academy, Mar. 19-22. A valid military identification card is required when purchasing tickets at the Stan Sheriff Center or Les Murakami Stadium Box Offices. Tickets are in special sections and supplies are limited. Other restrictions may apply.
