TEMPE, Ariz. – The fifth-ranked University of Hawai'i women's water polo team went a perfect 4-0 at the Arizona State Invitational, including two wins on Sunday, an 11-3 win over Santa Clara and a 23-3 win over Concordia in Tempe, Ariz.

UH finished the two-day invitational 4-0 and improved to 15-6 on the season and 3-2 in MPSF play. The Rainbow Wahine have now won nine straight matches.

On Sunday, Monika Eggens continued her outstanding play on the road trip. Eggens scored four goals in the win over Santa Clara and scored six goals in the win over Concordia. Eggens scored 17 goals in four games at the invitational.

Against Santa Clara, Carmen Eggens and Monique Wilson each scored two goals and Leonie Van Der Molen, Ryan Hanson-Swaner and Amarens Genee each scored one goal. Ella Aiwohi and Danielle Ingram shared time in goal, as Aiwohi had two saves and Ingram had three.

In the first match of the day against Concordia, Amarens Genee scored five goals, Sivan Pardon had four goals, Gina Ahue had three goals and Jana Liessman added two. Ingram had 12 saves in goal.

UH returns to the islands to host its final two home MPSF matches of the season, beginning with Stanford on April 11 and San Jose State on April 17.
