Jonas Umlauft repeated as co-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the Week after leading the Warriors to a two-match split of No. 2 Pepperdine in Malibu, Calif.
In addition, UH moved up one spot to No. 4 in the latest AVCA Division I-II Coaches Top 15 poll released on Monday. The ranking is the highest since UH was ranked third during the 2007 season.
Umlauft, a native of Stadtbergen, Germany, combined for 41 kills in six sets (6.83 K/S) while hitting .395. He had a match-high in kills each night, including 21 at a .429 clip, in addition to one ace and two blocks in the 3-0 win on Saturday. On Friday, he went for 20 kills and a .359 hitting in a three-set loss. Umlauft averaged 7.33 points per set for the weekend.

Joshua Walker is a two-time recipient.
Stanford sophomore outside hitter Brad Lawson (Honolulu, HI/'Iolani School) was also this week's co-player of the week after combining for 30 kills in six sets (5.00 K/S) while hitting .532, as the Cardinal took over sole possession of first-place with a pair of 3-0 wins at Long Beach State and UC San Diego. He added 12 digs (2.00 D/S), six assists, and four blocks (three solo) over the weekend. 18 kills in the Pyramid and 12 kills in RIMAC Arena were both match-highs.
The Warriors host their final regular season series this weekend with a pair of matches against UC San Diego, Friday, April 2 and Saturday, April 3. Both matches begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center. Saturday is Senior Night and six seniors will be honored during the traditional postgame ceremonies.
