HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team will host its annual alumni match Saturday, April 10 at the Stan Sheriff Center. An alumni intrasquad match begins at 5:00 p.m. followed by the featured alumni vs. varsity match at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets for the match go on sale today. Men's volleyball season ticket holders will receive complimentary tickets to the match in the mail this week. All seats are general admission and ticket prices range from $7 (adult), $5 (senior citizen), and $3 (students ages 4-high school and UH system students).
The Warriors (17-8, 13-7 MPSF) close out the regular season with a two-match Mountain Pacific Sports Federation series at UC Santa Barbara, Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17.
Despite sweeping a pair of matches against No. 14 UC San Diego over the weekend, the Warriors dropped a spot in the latest AVCA Top 15 Coaches Poll. UH fell to No. 5 but received one first place vote. Cal State Northridge, who upset top-ranked Stanford, leapfrogged the Warriors to No. 4.
