Track & Field Begins Long Road Trip With Mesa Classic

MESA, Ariz. – The University of Hawai'i track and field team began its 11-day road trip by competing in the Mesa Classic Friday at Mesa Community College's John D. Riggs Stadium. 

Several Rainbow Wahine set seasonal-bests including Brittany Uhl in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:10.61 and Samantha Balentine in the javelin with a mark of 107-04 (32.71m).

UH will next compete in the 31st Sun Angel Classic in Tempe, Ariz., on Saturday. Next week, the Rainbow Wahine will compete in several meets in southern California, including the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays.
