IRVINE, Calif. – University of Hawai'i sailors
Hannah Tuson-Turner and
Hanne Nagatani were named the Pacific Coast Sailing Conference Women Sailors of the Week following a strong performance at the St. Francis Intersectional, April 3-4.
UH finished second among 28 teams, thanks in large part to the efforts of Tuson-Turner and Nagatani, who finished fifth overall in the A division and were the top women's pair in the entire field. The duo accumulated 73 points, and finished in the top two in a trio of races.
Up next for the Rainbow sailing team is the PCCSC Coed Dinghy Championship this weekend at Ke'ehi Lagoon.
