Day 1: Wednesday, April 28

10:30 p.m. PT – The long day of travel ended Wednesday night after the team checked into the hotel near the UCLA campus around 10 p.m. PT. Very nice hotel, recently remodeled with a new age Los Angeles feel. We left campus at 10:30 a.m. HT and after a direct flight to Los Angeles, the team picked up the vans and stopped at a grocery store. It's always good to grab some snacks for the hotel room, before getting settled in. Day 1 is about to come to an end. Thursday will provide practice and game preparation, but its good to get the travel day out of the way.
