Track action is starting to pick up across the Aloha State and some of Hawaii's best have been putting on strong performances in the early goings of this spring season. With more action on the horizon, we'll take a brief look at some of the standout efforts from the last two weeks.

Sprint Events - Top Performers

Violet Schaut, Konawaena - She captured two wins in the 100m and 200m dashes last weekend at the BIIF @ Kealakehe, setting a pair of HI #1 times in the two events.

Mila O'Rourke, Kapaa - It's been a busy start to the season for the sophomore, who has won seven separate events across nine competitions. She remains undefeated in the 100m dash and 100m hurdles, having won those races twice at the first two KIF Qualifying Meets.

Elijah Connell-Chavez, Hanalani - After qualifying for Nike Indoor Nationals this winter, the senior opened up his season with a win in the 400 dash at the IHL #1, crossing the line in 51.32, the fastest in Hawaii this spring.

Terrell Williams, Moanalua - At the first meet of the season, he set new personal bests in the 100m and 200m dashes, setting the HI #1 in the 100m, and winning the two races at the Aiea Qualifier.

Aden Sokham, Konawaena - The senior captured a pair of wins at the BIIF @ Kealakehe, setting a pair of personal bests in the 100m and 200m dashes. His 22.26 in the 200m dash is the fastest in the state this season.

Field Events - Top Performers

Farrah O'Connor, Kaiser - She is undefeated in the pole vault this season, having won the event at the Aiea Qualifier, where she set a personal best of 10-0, and at the OIA East Qualifier.

J'Kobe McLean, Moanalua - He won the high jump at the Aiea Qualifier on the first weekend of the season. The state leader in the event is the only athlete to clear 6-0 in the first two weeks of the outdoor season.

Ian Tod, Moanalua - In two meets, the sophomore has won both times in the pole vault, clearing 13-0 at the Aiea Qualifier, which is a personal best and HI #1.

Distance Events - Top Performers

Sadie Krueger, Moanalua - She is undefeated across three events to start the season, having won the 200m dash and 1,500m at the OIA East Qualifier this week, while also claiming 1st in the 800m at the Aiea Qualifier the weekend prior. 

Ashlyn Jacobsen, Campbell - Two weeks ago, the senior captured two wins in the distance events at her home meet, setting the state's fastest time in the 3,000m with a 10:19.78.

James Millare, Moanalua - He is the top-ranked runner in the 800m and 1,500m after two weeks of competition and is undefeated in three races. The senior set a personal best in the 800m, running a 1:52.83 at the OIA East Qualifier on his home track.
