HONOLULU – The No. 4 University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine volleyball team (3-0) will host Michigan State, New Mexico and No. 10 Southern California in the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Classic from Sept. 2-5 at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Hawai'i is coming off a great opening weekend, taking the Chevron Rainbow Wahine Volleyball Invitational title with wins over San Diego, Kansas State and UCLA.
Kanani Danielson led UH, earning tournament Most Outstanding Player honors, while
Brittany Hewitt and
Elizabeth Ka'aihue were also named to the all-tournament team.

Television: The matches on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be shown live on Oceanic Pay Per View (Ch. 255) with Jim Leahey handling the play-by-play and Chris McLachlin doing color commentary. The Hawai'i matches will be replayed on KFVE (Ch. 5) the following day.
Radio: ESPN 1420 (1420 AM) will broadcast the UH matches this week, live with Scott Robbs handling the play-by-play.
