TULSA, Okla. –University of Hawai`i men's tennis player Jeremy Tweedt was eliminated on the second day of pre-qualifying at the D'Novo/ITA All-American Championships, Oct. 3 at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

 

Tweedt, lost to Benedikt Lindheim of Nebraska 6-1, 7-6 (3) in the round of 64. The native of Paris, France, won a pair of matches on Saturday to advance and looked to be one of 16 players to make it to the qualifiers.

 

Senior Dennis Lajola, ranked No. 106 in the preseason ITA poll, begins play in Monday's qualifying rounds.
