Men’s Golf To Compete In Alister MacKenzie Invite

Tournament Notes

The University of Hawai'i men's golf team continues its fall schedule by competing in the Alister MacKenzie Invitational, Oct. 18 and 19, at the Meadow Club in Fairfax, Calif.
 
Competing alongside the Warriors will be host California, Colorado, Colorado State, Fresno State, Minnesota, New Mexico, Oregon, Oregon State, Penn State, San Diego State, San Francisco, San Jose State, UC Davis, UC Irvine, and Wisconsin.
 
Teams will play 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday, competing on a par-71 course checking in at 6,708 yards.

It has been five years since UH has competed in an Alister MacKenzie Invitational. In 2005, the men earned 15th place with an 876 total (291-293-292). Former Warrior Jarett Hamamoto led the team in a tie for 23rd at one-over par (71-71-72).
