Homecoming Weekend Contests Feature Great Fan Promotions & Ticket Discounts

There will be a host of fan promotions and ticket-discount opportunities in conjunction with the University of Hawai`i at Manoa football game and women's volleyball matches during Homecoming weekend. The UH football team hosts the Idaho Vandals on Saturday, Oct. 30, at 5:30 p.m. in Aloha Stadium. The No. 4-ranked UH women's volleyball team plays three-straight Western Athletic Conference home matches in the Stan Sheriff Center. The Rainbow Wahine host Boise State on Friday, Oct. 29, at 7:00 p.m., New Mexico State on Sunday, Oct. 31, at 5:00 p.m., and Louisiana Tech on Monday, Nov. 1, at 7:00 p.m.

40,000 VIP Cards To Be Given Away At Football Along With Wonderful Prizes

ESPN 1420 and Jack In The Box are the game sponsors for the UH-Idaho football game on Saturday. Jack In The Box will distribute 40,000 VIP Cards at the stadium gates. The cards can be redeemed for a free chicken sandwich with the purchase of a large soft drink and are good for repeat/multiple uses through Dec. 31, 2010. Fans can register at Gate 3 for the chance to participate in the ESPN 1420 & Jack In The Box "Field Goal Kicking Contest" during pre-game and the "Hawaii Halloween Relay" at halftime. UH Manoa students can register at Gate 7 for the chance to win a Las Vegas trip in the "Quarterback Challenge" between quarters 3 and 4. One (1) UH student will win an inter-island airline ticket for the "Most Creative Halloween Costume" (any type of toy guns, knives, or items which may pose a health or safety issue will not be allowed into the turnstile gates) and 2,000 Thunder Sticks will be distributed in the student section. UH Manoa students will receive free admission by showing their valid UH identification card at Gates 1, 7 or 8 and there will be free transportation to the stadium for students (buses depart from and return to the UH Manoa campus).

Keiki Halloween Costume Contest In Chevron Family Fun Zone

Hey parents, your kids can win great prizes and have the chance to go on the field at the UH football team's Homecoming game against Idaho on Saturday, Oct. 30, at 5:30 p.m. There will be a Keiki Halloween Costume Contest in the Chevron Family Fun Zone before for game for youth 12 years old and under. Dress your keiki in their Halloween costume and bring them to the judging booth in the Chevron Family Fun Zone before 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. You'll receive prizes from game sponsors ESPN 1420 and Jack In The Box, as well as Chevron. The top five finalists will be invited to the field, be featured on the stadium Aloha Vision, and have their names read over the public address system. Come celebrate Halloween with the Warriors!

"Fan Pack" Prizes, Halloween Treats, Las Vegas Trip Giveaway At Volleyball

The Rainbow Wahine volleyball team hosts Boise State on Friday, Oct. 29, at 7:00 p.m., New Mexico State on Sunday, Oct. 31, at 5:00 p.m., and Louisiana Tech on Monday, Nov. 1, at 7:00 p.m. Hawaiian Telcom is the match sponsor on Friday and will award prize-filled "Fan Packs" during the halftime promotional activity. Outrigger Hotels & Resorts is the match sponsor on Sunday and the first 500 fans will receive Halloween treats. Also, keiki in Halloween costumes will receive special prizes. California Hotel & Casino is the match sponsor on Monday and will host its popular "Toss Your Way To Vegas" promotional activity at halftime. The grand prize will be a Vacations Hawaii Trip to Las Vegas with four nights at the California Hotel.

UHAA Members Receive 50% Off To Homecoming Weekend Contests

UH Alumni Association paid members will receive 50% off select adult end zone tickets (maximum of eight) to the Homecoming football game against Idaho on Saturday, Oct. 30, at 5:30 p.m. and the women's volleyball matches on Friday, Oct. 28, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 31, at 5:00 p.m. A valid Alumni Association membership card is required when purchasing tickets at the Stan Sheriff Center (football & volleyball) or the Aloha Stadium Box Office (football) either in advance or on game day. Tickets are in special sections and supplies are limited. Other restrictions may apply.
