HONOLULU – The No. 5 University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine volleyball team returns home to host three WAC matches in four days from Oct. 29-Nov. 1, at the Stan Sheriff Center, for Homecoming weekend.
UH will first host Boise State on Friday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m., playing the Broncos for the second time in six days. Hawai'i defeated BSU in Boise on Oct. 23. They will then face New Mexico State, in a battle of the top two teams in the WAC standings, on Sunday, Oct. 31, before facing Louisiana Tech on Monday, Nov. 1.
Hawai'i is sporting a 14-match winning streak and have currently won the last 35 sets they have played, the longest streak by a UH team since 2002.
What: Hawai'i vs. Boise State, New Mexico State, Louisiana Tech
When: Friday, Oct. 29 (7 p.m.), Sunday, Oct. 31 (5 p.m.), Monday, Nov. 1 (7 p.m.)
Where: Stan Sheriff Center
Television: KFVE (Ch. 5) will televise all three matches this week with Jim Leahey doing the play-by-play. Ryan Tsuji will do color commentary for the match vs. Boise State on Oct. 29, with Lisa Strand-Ma'a doing color for the matches on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
Radio: ESPN 1420 (1420 AM) will broadcast the matches this week, live with Scott Robbs handling the play-by-play.
