After three tournaments on the road, the University of Hawai'i women's golf team returns home to host the Turtle Bay Resort College Invitational, Nov. 2 through 4, at the Turtle Bay Resort in Kahuku, O'ahu.
The Rainbow Wahine hosted the invite for the first time last year when it became both a men's and women's tournament. This year, only the women will be competing.
UH will host a seven-team field, including Brigham Young, British Columbia, Portland State, Princeton, Southern Illinois, and UC Irvine.
Golfers will play a total of 54 holes during the three-day tournament, 18 holes each day. The first and second rounds are to be played on the Arnold Palmer Course, checking in at 6,361 yards, while the final round will be played on the 6,261-yard George Fazio Course. Both courses are par-72.
In last year's event, the Rainbow Wahine tied for 12th place with a 926 total, their best three-round score of the season. Sophomore
Brigitte Baker finished tied for 42nd with a 231 (76-74-81). Junior
Erika Lundberg tied for 61st, senior
Brittany Bomar tied for 76th, and sophomore
Ka'ili Britos tied for 80th place.
