Softball Hosts Annual Alumnae Game

HONOLULU—The University of Hawai`i softball team concludes its fall season with its annual Alumnae Game on Friday, Nov. 12 at 5:00 pm at the Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium. After the game, the 2010 softball team will be honored during halftime of the UH men's basketball game against Montana State with commemorative bracelets marking their amazing run through the 2010 Women's College World Series .
 
The alumnae will be represented by at least 22 Rainbow Wahine graduates, including four members of the 2010 Women's College World Series team.

Head Coach Bob Coolen is in his 20th season and returns 16 letterwinners from last year's WAC championship squad that posted a 50-16 record and finished the year ranked seventh in the nation after advancing to the program's first ever WCWS. This past week the current 'Bows swept Chaminade in and exhibition doubleheader, 11-0 and 16-0. UH opens its 2011 season with the Oceanic Time Warner Cable Paradise Classic (Feb. 10-12) with Southern Utah, Texas State and UC Davis.
