It was quite the day at Champs South (formerly Foot Locker South) for Team VA. Ultimately the Old Dominion State saw four girls advance to San Diego for Nationa
After the dust settled, it was state champion Nathan Atchue finishing in a solid second place to advance to San Diego for Champs

As we close out the XC season a new season starts for most of the coaches in the state. Normally that would be the case with Dr. Matt Gilchrist but after 27 yrs
That storyline was whether Blacksburg was going to maker the state meet, let alone make the podium. Spoiler alert, the Bruins swept states!
If you asked us two days ago our thoughts on the state meet moving to Oatlands we would tell you it stunk.
This past week the Potomac School boys were victorious at the VISAA State Meet. Potomac scored 72 points to beat the pre-meet favorite, St. Chris, by 17 points.
Registration is now open for the biggest and best meet in the United States.
There were quite a few state champions crowned this past week but only one of them was a freshman, Kiera Lowman of Alleghany.
Brooke Point opened in 1993 and it took until 2022 to finally win an individual state title in cross country.
