Island School SR Pierce Murphy, the 2009 HHSAA Cross Country runner-up, has posted a new PR and Hawaii state-leading/MileSplit First Team Elite 3-Mile time of 14:58.60 at the Kauai Interscholastic Federation Cross Country meet held today at Island School, Lihue, Kauai, HI.
Murphy improved on his previous 3-Mile Cross Country PR of 15:25.92, ran last Saturday at the Iolani Cross Country Invitational at Kualoa Ranch.
