Coaches -
A few things as we look toward next week's Championship meet at Kamehameha.
1. Please look for the entry forms coming from Kamehameha soon via email.
Be sure to get information back Kamehameha by the deadline.
2. Varsity races ... maximum 7 runners per school ... runners must have completed two 2013 BIIF meets.
Open races ... all eligible runners allowed to run ... grades 9 thru 12.
3. Order of races ... Boys Open @ 2:00pm, Girls Open @ 2:45pm, Boys Varsity @ 3:30pm, Girls Varsity @ 4:15pm
4. HHSAA qualifiers ... 37 BIIF boys and 37 BIIF girls
5. I have attached the updated BIIF XC Rules with a clarification, (7c).
The Division I and II Championship teams will qualify 7 runners (max.) for HHSAA ... no matter where they finish in team standings.
If both Championship teams finish in top-2 in standings, then there will be 13 individual qualifiers for HHSAA. (37 - 24 = 13)
If one Championship team does not finish in top-2 in standings, then there will be 11 individual qualifiers for HHSAA. (37 - 26 = 11)
