WAILUKU - If the 58th annual Satoki Yamamoto Invitational did anything, it showed that the Baldwin High School boys and the Seabury Hall girls are the teams to beat in the Maui Interscholastic League.
The Bears boys, depleted by the school's junior prom on Saturday, swamped the field with 147 points, 37 more than Oak Bay High School from Victoria, British Columbia.
The Spartans girls rode the impressive distance triple of freshman Dakota Grossman, who won the 800-, 1,500- and 3,000-meter runs to be named the outstanding female athlete of the meet, to their first girls team title ever in a scoring track meet.
